Support Operation Warm

The Hyannis Fire Department, sildenafil generic in collaboration with Operation Warm, is having a fund raising event. They are raising money to provide 375 coats for all of the students at our Hyannis West Elementary School. This is a great opportunity to help our community by providing needed warmth to the students through the cold winter. Operation Warm is national non-profit organization which provides warm American-made coats to children  across the U.S.; and this year HFD has joined forces with a newly launched program ” Firefighters for Operation Warm,” led by firefighters across the U.S. to combat the effects of childhood poverty while saving American jobs.

We are reaching out to all of our GHCA members to help our HFD reach their goal. They are offering several ways to help:

  • Purchase tickets for the 50/50 raffle for $20 –  Stop by the Hyannis Fire Department, 95 High School Road Ext., Hyannis,  call David Webb 508-360-5093, or go to www.raffleriver.com (Search: Hyannis Firefighter). Raffle will be held on Friday, November 6 at 8PM at the Portside Tavern.
  • Attend the Live Fund Raising Event at Portside Tavern, 72 North St, Hyannis on Friday, November 6 at 8PM; $10 donation at the door (raffle tickets are sold separately).
  • Donate directly on-line to Operation Warm at www.operationwarm.org/hyannis , be sure to select Hyannis Fire Department, so donations go to their fund raising event.
