As you may know, ed a subcommittee of the GHCA has been following the development project for a new Hyannis District fire station.  At this point we need your help in reducing the size and cost of this estimated 25 to 30 million dollar project which could be adding some 20 to 25% more to the fire district tax for the next 30 to 40 years.

We urge you to educate yourselves by attending the next meetings scheduled on 9/16 and 9/25 at 5pm in the Shepley Room at the Hyannis Youth Center.  Please join us and be part of the discussion as an informed voter when the time comes to vote on this expenditure.

The building committee is presenting a building the size of our present Hyannis Town Hall.  It encompasses over 48, cialis sale 000 square feet which is over twice the size of the present fire station.

The Civic Association subcommittee has done extensive research and has concluded that the plan is over aggressive and needs to be refocused.  It is another tax expense that the homeowners cannot afford.

This building committee NEEDS to HEAR from the homeowners and taxpayers of this community.  We urge you to attend so your voice can be heard before it becomes too late for anything to be done.
