Calling all GHCA members, their spouses, and friends!

It’s time to start pulling details together for the Hyannis July 4th parade.   “Main Street USA” – that’s this year’s theme, and the Greater Hyannis Civic Association is proud to come together with the community to show-off our Main Street and help make the parade a fun and successful event for all who attend.

Once again we are looking for individuals to volunteer for the following activities

  • Carry a banner in the parade – we have three banners (Barnstable town banner, Grand Marshall banner, and GHCA banner)
  • Serve as parade monitors – each will be assigned one block on one side of Main Street on the parade route to hand out small flags and then monitor the block to make sure people stand back.  Join with a spouse or friend!
  • Help with the children’s bike contest, judging, and parade

We need 25+ volunteers all together, so please let us know if you are willing to help, and which activity most appeals to you

Please respond by email paulette.rio@comcast.net or call Paulette Rio at 508-778-2270. Include your t-shirt size (men’s sizes for all).
